Obama’s polls.

Obama’s polls.

President Obama’s polls are not looking so good right now. Keep talking, Mr. President, because Americans are on to you. They know you lie. They know you don’t like them. They know you are bad for the country and for the future of their children and grandchildren. They are getting to know Chicago politics, and they don’t like it very much, so keep talking. Americans don’t like condescension, arrogance, lecturing and attempts to encroach on their freedoms. These polls are just the latest attempts to get your attention. Can you hear us now? This is from Jim Geraghty over at The Campaign Spot at National Review Online:

According to the latest Gallup poll, President Obama is underwater — higher disapproval than approval — in six of nine categories. He’s at a 48/49 split on terrorism, a 36/60 split on health care, 36/61 split on the economy, and 32/64 split on the deficit.

Please go to the Geraghty link below to see his numbers with independents. They’re down in Bush territory. Wow.

Here’s a new Marist poll which shows that Obama’s approval rating all around is down to its lowest at 44% (and his disapproval rating is at 47%). This is from Daniel Foster over at the Corner on National Review Online:

Among independents, just 29 percent approve of the president’s job performance, while 57 percent disapprove.

Perhaps worse for the president is the number of respondents that report being disappointed by the politics of hope. 47 percent of those surveyed say President Obama has “fallen below their expectations,” while just 7 percent say he has exceeded them.

Foster has more from Rasmussen and Gallop. He’s even got the Gallop graphs showing Obama’s downward trajectory since in April of 2009 in the area of the deficit; his downward trajectory since August in the area of health care; and his slight uptick in foreign affairs since January of 2010. 1. Government in general is a disappointment! Obama is just reaping the rewards of his rhetoric, thank God thus far he is not having his socialistic programs passed.
